Our services along your debt collection processes essentially include:                                                                                                         Provision of information: If only I’d known that sooner! We provide you with relevant information about your debtors, such as identification, information about location, payment history or contact details. You receive this information on a daily basis, from our credit information database, from third-party sources or researched especially for you.                                                                                                                                     Decision support systems: Yes? No? Don’t know? These systems assess a wide range of information and consolidate it into an automated decision model in line with your goals to make better decisions as Software as a Service or as a Decision Engine on your servers. They are used, for example, in decisions to request a debt collection order or file for debt enforcement proceedings, for call centre management, in long-term monitoring or within address research.                                                                                                                                               Supplementary services – Here to support you!   • Cost optimisation in address research

    One major cost factor in the collection and recovery process is incurred through tracing the addresses of lost debtors. If preliminary enquiries fail to identify a correct forwarding address, a residents’ registration office request is generally made. Used exhaustively, registration office enquiries account for a large part of the address tracing costs.     One approach to reducing costs is to limit the number of enquiries via the total or principal claim amount: only making registration office requests where the recoverable amount appears sufficiently high. This customary practice can be significantly improved by taking two dimensions into account: first, the likely success of the search (forwarding address for delivery) and second the expected recovery. The likelihood of a successful registration office request can be relatively reliably predicted. A combination of both dimensions can be used to target and manage registration office requests.                        CRIF’s Collection ONE interface allows these parameters to be set individually for each client and balanced against the current results. You can either provide your own recovery probability information, have CRIF calculate it or preferably determine it jointly from your and our combined historical data. Contact us!   • 6th CRIF Collection Day in a historical ambience

    On 4 February 2020, CRIF hosted its 6th Collection Day and welcomed almost 30 collection companies to Motorworld Stuttgart. Over the years, the event has become an established fixture and this time it addressed, among other topics, the advantages of open communication in debt collection and CRIF’s response to future regulatory requirements for the sector. Last but not least, criminal investigator Erik Manke gave a lively and practical insight into identity fraud and its consequences. Many participants also took advantage of the event to exchange ideas and network with each other and with the CRIF colleagues present. The day concluded with a tour of the historic premises of MOTORWORLD in Stuttgart.
